From Oakland & San Jose: Take I-580 W toward San Francisco, Merge onto I-80 E toward Sacramento/Berkeley. Take Buchanan St/Albany exit. Turn right onto Buchanan St. Turn left on San Pablo Ave. Turn right on Solano Ave., proceed 1.25 mi. Sue Johnson Custom Lamps & Shades is on the left.

From Marin: Take I-580 E toward the Richmond Bridge/Oakland. Take Buchanan St. exit (on left). Turn left onto Buchanan St. at stop light. Turn left on San Pablo Ave. Turn right on Solano Ave., proceed 1.25 mi. Sue Johnson Custom Lamps & Shades is on the left.

From Sacramento: Take I-80 W toward San Francisco. Take Albany exit. Turn left on Cleveland Ave (frontage road). Turn left on Solano Ave., (next street beyond Washington) proceed 1.4 mi. Sue Johnson Custom Lamps & Shades is on the left.

From Walnut Creek/Concord: Take I-680 toward Oakland. Merge onto Hwy 24 toward Oakland/Lafayette. Merge onto Hwy 13 N toward Berkeley. Take Hwy 13 (Ashby Ave.) approximately 3 mi. to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Turn right and continue across town, another 3 miles, to Solano Ave. (MLK becomes The Alameda several blocks before this intersection). Parking Meters:

The meters may be chopped off, but you still need to PAY TO PARK on Solano Avenue in Berkeley.
There is a Parking station several doors up from the lamp shop.
Rates: $1.50/hr. Minimum: $.30 for 12 minutes. Maximum: 2 hrs. The parking station accepts .05, .10, .25, and $1.00 coins AND credit cards.
Parking is enforced Mon-Sat, 9-6.
Display receipt inside your vehicle, on the driver's side dashboard. Vacation days are listed on the parking station.
