Trench Art Lamps

The base of these one-of-a-kind lamps are spent artillery shells left behind after World War I. Generally they were worked by recovering soldiers; a form of art therapy using available, “free” materials. We have a number of these unique Trench Art vessels that we have wired into lamps, and the small collection shown here illustrates some of the ways our shade techniques can be used to make new and interesting lamp shades for them.
